Terms and Conditions of Sales

1. Forwarding of the order form and the relevant payment does not automatically give the right to supply of the philatelic or numismatic material in the quantities requested.

2. The supply criteria are fixed by the AASFN based on the type of issue and in any event according to availability.

3. In the event that the items requested are partially or totally missing, upon specific request from the customer, the AASFN shall refund the sums already paid by means of a non-negotiable bank cheque.

4. Complaints about payments shall be accepted for up to, and no later than, 6 months from the payment date.

5. When the goods are delivered, the customer must check the parcel to make sure that the packaging is complete and undamaged. In the event of anomalies the customer must contest the delivery by writing "RISERVA" on the delivery note.

6. Returns or refusal of package will only be accepted up to 10 days from receipt.

7. The right of refusal must be exercised in writing via registered letter.

8. Money-back guarantee - in the event of refusal the AASFN shall only reimburse the amount of the values purchased and returned.

9. Deliveries are normally made via registered post, unless decided otherwise by the customer. C.O.D. deliveries are not offered.

10. Contribution to shipping costs are indicated on the order forms sent to the customer or on the e-commerce site.

11. No contribution is due when purchasing philatelic series on an envelope for an amount equal to or greater than the actual delivery charge.

12. Goods travel at the customer’s risk.

13. Any loss, theft or damage that occurs to the philatelic or numismatic material shall only give the right to the reimbursement foreseen by the postal regulations in force.

14. Whenever goods are not collected for any reason at all and are therefore returned to sender, except for cases that are the responsibility of the AASFN, the goods shall only be sent again following repayment of the contribution to shipping costs and related administration fees.

15. Should goods be returned, the AASFN shall send a communication in writing to the customer, and if possible also by telephone or e- mail.

16. Unclaimed goods shall be stored for a maximum of 3 months from the date of the notice sent to the customer.

17. For any controversy concerning the purchase of our products, jurisdiction shall lie with the courts of the Republic of San Marino.

  • E-commerce by entering the site www.aasfn.sm and following the instructions. This is the easiest, safest, cheapest and fastest payment option. Credit card details are transmitted encrypted to guarantee safety and privacy. In order to encourage its use, over the next few months i.e. until 31st March 2012, anyone using this payment method will not have to pay the contribution to shipping costs which amounts to € 4.50 on average. We expect e- commerce to be used more and more often in the future, so much so that we have revamped our site and modernized order and payment procedures, in the belief that our affectionate international customers will appreciate this.

To be certain of receiving all the philatelic series and numismatic items issued throughout the year, taking advantage of the special conditions offered to this type of affectionate customer, the AASFN offers a series of inventory subscriptions to make ordering, paying and registering easier. With a single order and a single payment, and a consequent saving in postal and bank charges, you will have the convenience of receiving the number of philatelic series ordered at the beginning of the year and the numismatic items that interest you. As regards stamps, we undertake to allocate all the series independently of any increase in face value, while for numismatics we undertake only to deliver the products without being able to guarantee the cost of objects produced in precious metals, in view of the current variability in raw material prices.
